Comment Pack
Latest version: v0.7
This adds a couple of tags to show new comments that have been added since the site visitor’s last look at your site.
Summary
This plugin is not designed to do anything particularly spectacular for comment handling on your site. However, it is meant to simplify the comments and comment_preview forms in your TXP installation.
Oh, and to be able to detect when the article author is submitting a comment. Actually, this is the major feature of this plugin as it does this checking verses the TXP installation’s table of users—making it suitable for multi-author sites.
Examples
You can try this pack out on two example articles.
- Jane Doe’s article Created by the user Jane Doe.
- John Doe’s article Created by user John Doe.
Each page has instructions as to how to get the entered comment recognised as an “author comment”.
Download
The latest versions are available here—older versions (0.3 and below) have been removed because of the unnecessary number of sql queries they make.
